Swim Lessons

The kids now LOVE their swimming lessons. I have a lot more pictures than this but since these are edited because I turned them in for my photography class I thought I may as well post them. I will openly admit to being obsessed with little girl bathing suits. Addi has at least 5 bathing suits and I heart every last one of them. She loves them too. The bad thing is, when I see a cute one, I STILL stop, look, and actually consider buying it. I know... but they're SO cute!! And, yes, I'm the evil Mom who puts her little Mormon girl in a bikini. But lets be honest, how long can you wear a bikini with a tummy like that and thighs like those and still look cute? Not long enough so we gotta live it up! :) This first picture totally cracked me up. I THINK she may open her eyes under water... but I'm not 100% sure. ;) (She's swimming to the wall and grabbing it, by the way. I'm not watching her drown just to get a cute picture.)

The other day while her swim teacher was about 1/2 way across the pool Addi fell off the Baja step and into the pool. We weren't back there at the time (Bryan was in the car with Carter getting him changed) but another mom saw it happen. She yelled to the teacher but by the time the teacher got to Addi, she had flipped onto her back and was floating just like Miss Pam has shown her! It was a VERY proud moment for her teacher and surprisingly, didn't even scare Addilyn. Hopefully she learned her lesson though. She is SUPPOSE to sit on the top step while she waits her turn... not play on the Baja step. Little turkey. (Little floating turkey, though.)

Puppy Overload

As if we didn't have enough, Nona and Papa bought some for their house. Obviously, Carter loved it. :)

Sea World!!

While we were in San Diego last week we went to Sea World. My dad was even able to meet us down there after a meeting he had down town. While we were only there for 3-4 hours I was SO pooped by the time we got home. My poor body paid for it the whole next day but it was worth it to play with my kids.
Addilyn quickly decided that the whales ("wha-o") are her new best friends. She is OBSESSED with them. My parents got her a little Shamu in a purse that she is still sleeping with. Every time she sees a shale she gets so excited and screams, "wha-o"!!

Playing with the starfish with Papa.
"Hi Whal-o"
The sharks!
We even fed the seals. That was really fun.
Addilyn even touched the fish (and then made a nasty face).
Yummy!

The Prairie Field

Ok, so it's not really so much a field as it is a patch. But I made it LOOK like a whole field, right? I love these pictures. They'll be making an appearance on my photo blog as well. :) This is in San Diego by my parents house. I had a blast but it was as this little shoot that I decided I am getting too big to take pictures until after the little ones comes.

Nona and Addilyn.

Heaven forbid Carter get to do something without Addi getting her turn...

School Carnival

A few weeks ago we went to the local elementary school carnival. It was really fun and their petting zoo was AWESOME! The kids all had a blast and slept REALLY well that night. Here are a few pictures from the evening.
Ryan and a pig... Ryan's the one on the right. :)

This thing bring a whole new meaning to the phrase "funky chicken."
I seriously LOVE this picture of the llama. The poor thing was in the petting zoo being MAULED by kids. He just stood there and took it... I would be biting heads off.

Tag getting a "honk-n-kiss" from Ryan. A "honk-n-kiss" is something our dad gave us all the time when we were kids. They tickle. Especially with a mustache like my dad had. It makes me happy that Ryan is doing it to his kids... the things you take away from your childhood are so random sometimes.

Shamu

A few people (clearly the completely crazy ones) have asked to see pictures of the growth. So, here are a few from the last 10 days or so. I am in a photography class right now and am really trying to stretch myself. (haha!! no pun intended) So, I've been trying to take a few self portraits. What great timing for that, huh? I'm 25 weeks and 4 days in case any one's wondering. :)

Snack Time

People often wonder if I even feed Addilyn because she appears to be so undernourished. (insert eye roll here.) She loves to eat... got it from me I think. That being said, every time we eat at Bryan's parents house he stuffs himself silly. So, I took a few pictures of her during "nack" time last week. She's just so dang cute and I know these pictures are completely pointless but to me, they're darling.
