Time...
About 7 1/2 years ago Bryan and I stood in this exact same spot... taking wedding pictures. Never did I imagine I would bring my kids back here with each trip to San Diego. And never did I imagine I would have a little cutie with clear blue eyes, curly dark hair, more sass than anyone I know, and a gut like that. Man, I love her!

Long Awaited....
This was a VERY long awaited day. My amazingly awesome, super duper talented, extremely entertaining, and awfully opinionated uncle Cory got married to someone equally as outstanding and unique as him. We all went to San Diego for the weekend (WITHOUT KIDS!! WOOHOO) for the celebration. I can honestly say that this was the coolest wedding I've been to. The venue was so COOL! It was so THEM; beautiful and one of a kind. I felt very lucky and honored to be a part of their special day. As you can tell, there were way too many pictures that I loved. And this is narrowing it down. I love family. There's nothing like it in the world. The only thing missing was my Grandpa... and I know he was there in spirit... probably prodding Lexine to not back out. ;) (although she'd be a fool to back out. Cory's so awesome.) Now I just need some new little cousins!! hehe!

Still Missed...

I must admit, I have teased my sweet Grandma and told her that it was cheaper to put ALL the info on the head stone at once so we had to fill in her death date when my Grandpa died. I told her we put 2011 so she has a year and half to croak so we don't have to fix it. :) While I think she's anxious to return home to be with her eternal companion, I'm not quite ready to let her go.

The Birthday Boy!
Yesterday was Carter's 5th Birthday... crazy. Next, Kindergarten! EEK! Not sure I'm ready to let go of my little man... but I think he's ready to let go of me. :( Anyways, we had a great day. We hit the movies in the morning, Chuck E. Cheese's in the afternoon, and had dinner and then cake and ice cream with Bryan's family. He got spoiled (as he should have) and was so hyped up on sugar that I'm not sure if he ever ended up falling asleep. Here are his latest loves:
Favorite Color: Green (always has been)
Favorite Place: The Dinosoar Museum. (I think, given a little more time, he may have had a different answer but we had been talking about it earlier in the day so...)
Favorite Movie: Star Wars- he's seen the first two old school ones. (I think it's really Bolt, though)
Favorite Person: Mom!! (I didn't even have to bribe him!!! YEAH!!!!! Take that, Bryan!)
Favorite Food: Spaghetti
Favorite Activity: Sword Fights ("Make sure people know they are only PLAY sword fights, Mom.")
Favorite Song: Fire Burning by Sean Kingston. While he has NO rythym, the kid loves rap and hip hop. It's really hard to find clean rap but when I do he LOVES it.
Favorite Character: Spongebob. (*sigh*)
I can't imagine having a more perfect little man around here. He's truly one of a kind and spoils me with his hugd and kisses. I hope that never changes.

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!
Yesterday was Addilyn's third birthday. She's got to be the most adorable little fire cracker in the world. Every day she has me laughing at how cute she is and a lot of days she has me ripping my hair out and counting to three more times than I care to admit. Yesterday I asked her what a few of her favorite things are and here are her responses:
Food: Mac and cheese (we, in fact, had that for her birthday dinner.)
Song: Twinkle Star (this girl LOVES to sing. She'll just bust out in song no matter where we are or what is going on. Once, during the Sacrament she starting singing, "We like to move it, move it!!" at the top of her little lungs)
Color: Pink (I'll second that.)
Person: Daddy (awwww!)
Activity: Singing ABCs. (I disagree. She asks EVERY SINGLE DAY if we can go to Nona and Papa's house so we can go to "Dineylan" and Sea World to see "Shamoon")
Princess: Snow White (hands down)
Movie: Snow White Movie
This little girl loves to color, paint her nails (we do it nearly daily), play with anything Princess/Tinkerbell/Dora, and dress up. I know I've said it before, but she is honestly convinced that she is a real princess. We love her and our family would be absolutely incomplete without her sweet spirit.

Another Addilyn Video
One of my very favorite books when I was a little kid was "There's a Monster at the End of this Book". It is now one of Addi's favorites. I came down stairs a few months ago (December to be exact, so this is kinda old) and heard Addilyn reading this book to herself... sitting in Preslee's bumbo chair. She didn't see me for a few minutes so I got a minute of video without her even knowing I'm there. If you haven't read this book it's about Grover being scared of the Monster at the end of the book. On each page he begs you to not turn the page. At the end of the book he realizes that he's the monster at the end of the book. If you listen, you can hear her saying, "Please! Please! Do not turn the page!", " You turn the page!!" and "Brick wall". (Grover builds a brick wall in hopes that it will stop you from turning the page.) Enjoy! (I'm sure the only people that will actually watch this are my Grandpa and Bryan's family.) :)
