Chocolate

Last week I gave Addilyn a piece of chocolate because... well, I'm coo' like that. :) She, like every woman I know, LOVES herself some chocolate! She made short work of it and came up to me with her pretty little smile. I nearly died laughing. How nasty does that toothy grin look? YUMMY! Just thought I'd share!

Snow White!!

A few weeks ago we went to Brailyn's birthday party. Clint and Malia win "Parents of the Year" award because they had the REAL SNOW WHITE come to the party!!! It was beyond adorable and I have never in my life seen my baby girl star struck. Snow White is her very favorite Princess. Snow White was so cute, too. Carter was WAY too cool for her when she got there but once she painted a snake on his arm and made him a sword balloon he decided she wasn't 1/2 bad. But, he still hung with Clint a good portion of the time. Addilyn just stared... and stared... and stared. We even had to go back one last time once we were on our way to the car for a hug and a kiss. It was so fun! Maybe we'll invite Snow White to Addilyn's party this year.

Addilyn's sword didn't last long. Carter was pretty proud of his.

These Two

I love these two little boys. They have been friends since Courtney and I tried to convince our husbands we wanted to start our families. We were THRILLED when we learned we would both be having boys only months apart. We were equally as excited when we learned our girls would be even closer in age. True to our wishes, these two boys have a BLAST together. Every time we get them together it's nonstop laughing, guns, dumb jokes, running, jumping, etc. Just like their daddies... without the farting. HA!

Oops...

The other day I had a few extra minutes so I *tried* to straighten Addilyn's hair. Granted, it had been curly the day before and I hadn't washed it so we didn't have a great start. It turned out so hysterical I had to take some pictures. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her hair curly... and now I have confirmation why. :)

What Happens When...

Uncle Bradley babysits and puts the kids down for be. Apparently I need to be VERY specific and tell him to take decorative pillows off the bed. When I was taking the pillows off her bed after I got home she actually fell off the bed and landed standing. She woke up literally in the standing position... she was so confused! It was really funny.

Tickle Monster

This book has become a family favorite. A sweet friend of mine, Amy Totty, (who is amazingly nice and talented and scrapbooks my kids for me) bought it for me for my baby gift when I had Preslee. Poor Pres hasn't seen much of the book but Carter and Addilyn have me read it to them at least once a week. They always want to wear the gloves themselves even when I'm doing the tickling. They squeal in utter delight when they know I'm coming to tickle their "under-arm pitties" or something of the like. The only hiccup we have is when we come to tickling their little "tum-tum"s, Carter takes a pass. He does NOT like having his stomach tickled... even though we do it all the time when we aren't reading the book.
I finally decided to snap some pictures of the kids reading the book because it is one of those memories I never want to forget about. Before I know it, Preslee will be in the middle of it all... I mean, she did sprout two little teeth on Valentines morning. Daddy is so proud!!

Each child with their respective "glove".

The kids tickling each other.
Carter can actually read parts of the book. (proud mommy moment)
This picture I just had to include because she is so deceptively cute in it. Gigi thinks I need to get her into modeling... yeah... because this child needs a BIGGER head. (dripping with sarcasm.) :)

Miss Personality

This little girl is now SIX months old!! She is the cutest little red head ever and, as of right now, has the sweetest little disposition. She loves to eat... more than she loves to sleep. She wakes up at around 6:30-7:00 in the morning... not ok. I like my babies to sleep until 8:00. But, we just bring her in bed, give her her bottle, and take little cat naps until she grabs our noses to wake us back up. She is also so verbal! She loves to hear herself talk (obviously gets that from Daddy) and will constantly give her older brother and sister the pleasure of laughing at them. They are still SO great with Preslee. They love to play with her and make her smile and laugh. I just enjoy it because I know the day will come when it won't be that way. Until then, I choose to believe they will live in bliss and harmony for eternity. :)

My Latest Obsession

How CUTE are these hats?!?! I SO love them. This super cute girl named Jamie made them. She makes all kinds of super cute hats and flowers for babies (her boy ones are ADORABLE!), kids, teens, and mommies. Go check her out when you have time. They are so reasonably priced as well. Tell her I sent you over there... I need to be on this girls good side. (I'm sure you'll see more of these hats since I also got a brown one and pink one for Addi... they hide the mop beautifully.) :)
In these pics od Addilyn you can't see the brim very well... but it's there and it's stinking CUTE!!
