The Big Hunts

The kids were completely spoiled this year by being able to take part in THREE Easter Egg Hunts. They, of course, had a blast and Addilyn caught on all too quickly. (When there's candy on the line, she learns fast.) Easter day was nice and relaxing. We decided that this in actually one religious holiday the world hasn't completely destroyed yet so Easter baskets were kept to a minimum. But they still got more candy than they needed.
Carter, Koen, and Addilyn having doughnuts and milk after the big hunt.
Carter got into a fight with a chocolate doughnut... and the doughnut won. You should have seen his clothes.
Cannon, Carter, and Koen. (two of his buddies from down the street.)

Don't worry, there were three eggs in the bush. Enough for her and Cannon to each get one.

JACKPOT!
No jelly bean left behind!Addilyn LOVED her Easter basket (from last year actually). She still carries it around like a purse.

Seriously don't hate me!!! My AZ trip was the most last minute, spur of the moment, impromptu, insane weekend. Next time...and there will be one.

Hey Jen,
Sherwood is about 35 minutes closer to Portland from McMinnville. We would be about 15 minutes from the temple and 20 minutes from downtown Portland. A LOT closer to EVERYTHING! We are over the top excited. I think it'll be a great thing for our little family.
Can't wait to see this little babe of yours (I'm sure you are too). I'm hoping we can make it down to AZ in the fall. Love ya!
